oi you
I'm coming up on 61 soon enough, and I'm still trying to run quickly, and training for it. My suggestion would be to ditch some of the long stuff and do some fast paced training, intervals etc. Try training for a nice little 3k or 1500m - that'll wake you up.

I'm 48 and have got progressively fitter through my 40s. However my memory has started to go in the last couple of years and I now need reading glasses. I still feel young mind :-)

This is why we have WAVA. You wouldn't expect Seb Coe to outrun Mo Farah today would you?

I'm getting fitter and I'm 40 this year, so I don't think age is anything to do with it. Have a rest, slow down on the long runs and relax :)

And blimey D2D, I'd have put you as older than 26.
