It might differ slightly from Reigate to Chelmsford too. Your fancy new cinema has sofas everywhere, whereas the Reigate one was one of the first redeveloped and they have two sets of seating with two prices. The cheaper seating is nearer the front and is just more comfy cinema seating. The sofas are the back half of each screen. Almost no-one sits in the regular seating.

I'll share my spreadsheet once I finish this evening. But here's depressing.

At a reasonable 40 visits a year, Everyman options assuming I didn't take Sue work out between £13.16 with Everyman and £16.25 with Everywhere

If I went to the Odeon and paid for a myLIMITLESS membership it would be £4.50.

If I understand what you're saying, over £15 for a cinema ticket seems very expensive to me. The 2 cinemas I go to most often are The Cameo (Edinburgh) which is about £7.20 and Vue at Ocean Terminal which is £6.99. My local cinema, the Odeon in Dunfermline charges £14.50 and this is a complete rip-off, they do this because there are no other cinemas locally to compete with. I never go there.

I pay 10.50 for a concession seat at Everyman. I think that’s a lot.

Decision to Leave was wonderful. Dark Hitchcockian splendour keeps you guessing til the end.

Saw The Menu this afternoon. Complete suspension of disbelief required, but very intriguing and entertaining if you like your humour dark. Lots of healthy stabs at the worst excesses of cheffy nonsense, too. Really enjoyed it :-)
