I ‘think’ he was sacked. Linds might remember. Even Happys list above is out of date, Stig Abell is another regular presenter and there’s a very diverse selection of pundits these days. Sometimes it’s good, sometimes not, like most culture vulture progs.

Sorry, this is a bit off-topix, but I still remember Kaleidoscope quite fondly. As I recall, in the nineties the Radio 4 afternoon schedule was a drama from 3pm to 4pm, Kaleidoscope was on after the news headlines at 4, and there was a short story after that before PM came on. I used to listen on the way home from work as my drive took about an hour.

You can view the old schedules here:

The woman who presented last night with "The Dans" from EEAAO was really good. I didn't get her name though.

Loose Ends. Still on - Clive Anderson now. He's pretty good too.

Ah yes. Of course, thanks Happy. Got FR and LE a bit mixed up in my memories.

Agree re Loose Ends.

I can still hear ML’s voice saying “hello” as I rush to switch off after The Archers. Now I listen to that via podcast so it must have been some years ago but it’s still imprinted on my brain
