I can sympathise RR. I moved last August. Heating all ok. Boiler serviced in February. All good. A week later, power cut and boiler goosed. So, new boiler installed 6 months after moving in.

I now currently have an upstairs radiator not working. It’s going to be sludge related :(

Plumber came round yesterday and isolated one radiator. That let him get all heating and power back on for us. He's coming back today to change the burst pipe and finish the job.

Turned it on again. 14 degrees is just too cold, even for just that hour between waking up and going out.

Fingers crossed RR 🀞🀞

14 degrees upstairs, 10 degrees in bedrooms; closed due to keeping cats out πŸ™„
Going to go colder over the next fortnight- I think the heating will go on for an hour in the morning, and an hour in the evening from this weekend πŸ€”

Exciting!

So we have gone from -13 to +13 almost over night...
Temperatures didn't drop below 15 last night so heating no longer coming on!
Gone wet though so damp meh!

Exactly Hanneke; warmer outside than in my porch - condensation on the outside of the windows!

Also noticed yesterday evening wet walls in the porch - stuck the dehumidifier in there to protect the building - loads of water extracted ... should have measured it!
