Presumably God also allowed the car to catch fire too?

But he granted the taxi driver free will to not have his car properly maintained to avoid this incident so he could wash his (or her or their) hands of any responsibility for the bad shit happening. But he negated the free will of the passer by to make sure that the taxi driver was saved. At least we're seeing consistency, in as much as proving that God moves in mysterious ways. ![]() |

We know that the taxi driver is within the Abrahamic monotheist tradition, but what about the passer by? Maybe the driver should be praising the passer by's god, gods, spirit guide or atheist morals?

The passer by may not believe in god, but apparently god believes in them anyway.
