Hi

Asking for hubby... What's the most accurate HRM these days? He's got an old Garmin and is ready for an upgrade :)

Ta!

Personally, I like the optical ones - mine is a TomTom Multisport Cardio. It seems to be pretty good, with the occasional senior moment.

Yeah. Optical = a sensor under the watch that reads the pulse from your wrist.

I like the one in my new Garmin 225, but I have no idea how accurate it is. The graph it produces looks plausible, at least.

Thanks. He's tempted by the Tomtom... but he also was looking at a v800 Polar. He's wanting to get into HR training - told him to get his arse back on here :)

I've had my Polar T31 for 6-8 years and it's been really good. I expect they don't make that model any more.
