When running on country lanes with no path I face on coming traffic, would you still do this at night wearing a head torch? I wear a rear facing red flashing light as well.

If you're in the country, why don't you go off-road?

I'd run with the traffic as stipulated by UKA.

Run where you are most visible, whichever side of the road that is. As a second best, wherever you can get off the road most easily ;)

Cheers Foxy, as I thought although with some drivers it doesn't matter where you run they will still aim for you!!
Yes RS I do run off road but have to use roads to get there.
