Gave one away as a present, the rest are all in the bin now - all failed due to poor quality. Having said that, I got my money's worth out of the (it was 5 for £55 including postage and duracell batteries) so would rate Alpkit very highly. The Viper II for £18 looks like similarly superb value for money. If you spend a bit more, I now use Lenser headtorches and vary the H7R and H7R2 - the latter on better offer on Amazon just now.

I found their 134 lumen Muon OK for completely unlit bridleways and towpaths, the 190 lumen Arc was better but even that seems dim when I have ran with someone who had one of the higher priced brands.
