The east wind is quite strong today - will be less so tomorrow but an east wind is what you very much want on the final three (?) miles on the seafront. The prevailing Sou'westerly blows right in your face otherwise, just when you need all the help you can get. Tail wind on the flat final stretch is good news. It's going to be dry and sunny, but not warm.
