Half marathon to Marathon training

3 is probably "get round" level but I'd say you can do a pretty good marathon on 4 runs per week if you structure it well. I first went sub-3 on less than that (and only improved to 2:48 subsequently on much higher mileage, it's not like I'm Steve Way). But more is always better. |

Well it happened eventually. Ran my 1st marathon at chester on sunday. Great experience despite being struck down with hamstring cramp at mile 22. |
