Half marathon to Marathon training

3 is probably "get round" level but I'd say you can do a pretty good marathon on 4 runs per week if you structure it well. I first went sub-3 on less than that (and only improved to 2:48 subsequently on much higher mileage, it's not like I'm Steve Way). But more is always better.

Well it happened eventually. Ran my 1st marathon at chester on sunday. Great experience despite being struck down with hamstring cramp at mile 22.
