Must be. I’m contemplating doing Hadd after I finish my marathon training plan. Just starting week 5/16 so a while off yet.

I'm up for HADD after summer. Heat always messes with my HR and German summers have been rather hot recently (30-37°C for weeks in 2018-2020, can I have a nice, cool North Wales summer with 15-20°C instead?).

So I'll join any HADDers in September or October as the base building for spring marathons 2022 begins.

Happy to back putting a little more focus on running and although not strictly following HADD, I am on week 3 of my 50mpw plan, which includes one sub 70% double run day, one 80% 60 min sub LT, one park run/race effort and a 2hr long run at 75%. Anything else is either cross training or easy running. Pace for 80% seems to be around 7.15mm for now. Yesterday was pretty warm so I was drifting pretty quickly after 6 miles.

Enjoying being a runner again though

Hey Tizer, yeah I'm not using Hadd strictly, but it's these principles that I fall back to when building mileage, etc.

I've got London to train for and all was going swimmingly up until the last fortnight when I tested positive for Covid. My isolation ended yesterday and it was noticeable how much the HR had increased after a week off running (probably although isolation is over I've still got the remnance of the virus in me).

Before the little break I was running an hour most days, on Tuesdays that was around 85% max HR and Sunday long runs were coming out at 75-80% for 2 hours +

I hope my HR on 70% runs comes down pre London but will see where I am and adjust targets appropriately as I get there 🤞

The weekly summary now shows the amount of time you spent in each HR zone, and the average pace in each.
