Well I beat the target, 24:09. It's still 21 seconds of my PB on that course though, and basically a minute away from Basingstoke/overall PB.

I'm not normally bothered about times. But I feel I should be quicker on this course than I am. Hardly any improvement in a year.

That course is a nasty one, deceptively so. I keep thinking I should have been quicker on it. Planning to get back there in teh summer a lot more.

I'm in half a mind to go back to Basingstoke soon and see if my time has changed there, evening things out. Seems a big difference.

Heading there this weekend. It's beautiful, though I'd say it is as undulating as Guildford. If the weather stays like this it will be lovely to run around.

Thinking of going there tomorrow as have to pick middle child up from a sleepover in G'ford. Where should I be aiming for? I am a bit geographically challenged!

Aim for the Spectrum (swimming pool & leisure centre) where you can park just across the road from the parkrun.

Yeah it's free parking and loads of spaces at that time of the morning. You can see the start (to the left) as you cross the road and enter the park.

At Crane Park today, otherwise I would pop along.

Got something to say?
