A good day; really enjoyed it!
I was very pleased with my result. Stella ran very well indeed, we had bit of a din dong but he ran away from me on the last 4 miles or so. Nice one mister!
Brilliiant to see everyone today. I hope everyone from darn sarf had a lovely time. Such a fantastic event this where everyone knows everyone and a great family atmosphere. Looking forward to next year already.
Well done everyone.

Great to meet fetchies for the first time today, IanM, PJL, Tpod, JenJ, RooA, slowboy, Hendo, Jude....and any ive forgot oh and thanks kwaka for the shout out......and the fetchie that kept popping up everywhere en route to shout encouragement...! Mrs E loved it. Her mate fell over, they ate lots of cake, and saw lots of Fetchies.
I'm planning on doing it next year. Sounds a lot more fun than a frigging marathon.

To Stella and all the other Fetchies well done. I was that guy in the Orange Gag and the Blue hat who kept popping up to support the wife , she ran well knocking 35mins off her 2007 time.
It was good to see all of you. Wish me luck in my first road race at Dronfield in the morning.

Ouch.
I hurt.
Really shouldn't have tried keeping up with Ian & Stella at the start, muchly regretted that over the last 10k - great run chaps.
Well done everyone, and thanks for the encouragement kwaka & Edale.

Kwaka
If you wore a fetch top or were running with a fetchie I should have a photie of you at various points on the course. Will post them probably tomorrow.
I really enjoyed today despite not running and it was great to meet everyone today. I really must concentrate more when people tell me their names though.
Very saddle sore now. Hoping to get back to running next week as there was no reaction to the hamstring.
