Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Forecast for tomorrow has changed again though:
metoffice.gov.uk

0900 Low-level Cloud 8°C SW 12 mph 30 mph Very Good
1200 Medium-level cloud 8°C W 18 mph 38 mph Very Good

As ever, this seems to be changing on a daily basis, i.e. they have no idea what the weather will be. It'll be fun whatever.

Tried to persuade Mrs PJL to come along with my fan club (ages 3 & 6) to cheer us on, but standing around in the cold for 3+ hours didn't appeal! Plus getting them out of the house that early on a weekend is a tall order.

Changes by the hour and by the website you look at - I use metcheck.

Bottom line is mild, windy with chance of light rain.

I'm in Sheffield. It's fucking freezing and dark and dank up here. No wonder you're all miserable bastards.

Closely following Swindon and Dewsbury, I think Portsmouth is possibly the grimest place I have ever visited.
