I'd like to think I had it in me to get better and I have joinrd my local running club. In actual fact I was talking to one of the sub 2:45 guys and they said it is about taking on some 5ks and getting faster and they applying some of that to maras. Realistically I think we should both be good for MK, as long as we use Manchester as our 'big run' and now taper again

I certainly wouldn't be running the times I am now if I didn't have the friendly competition from my club.
