Whoopy doopp doop. I am over the moon 3:47:35. Ran some perfect splits, more or less even. Had a bit of a wobble at 20 miles but shouted at myself and thankfully I listened. Now lets hope they don't move those goalposts on the Good for age at London.

Where are you getting these results from? The website doesn't have them on as far as I can see.

I had a really good race. Very pleased :)

Yay got an email from the organisers apparently they have now sorted out my chip time (I will await and see if it changes at the moment) it seems to reflect a time closer to my Garmin....2:47:57 so just under 2:50 :-) Hopefully good enough for a GFA place even with the organisers potentially changing the GFA times. Thank you for all your advice and help relieving my anxiety. You folks are wonderful :-) Results appear to be on the following site simpleeeee

Thought sub 4 was done for when cramps set in around 23 miles, but managed to hang on for 3.56.40. Very pleased with that.

Ran with The Juicer between about miles 18 and 20 and she must have finished well ahead of me. Thanks for the words of encouragement!

3.21.37 for me.
Nearly a five minute PB in my 20th marathon.
Getting dangerously close to GFA (until they change it!)
The Leeds vest was surprisingly well received but I presume most of the United fans were back at home in Surrey getting ready to watch them on Sky

Great day all round. Good support and well organised. The weather was kind and better than forecast. If anything I was a little warm as I'd opted for a LS base layer under my vest.

My plan was sub 4:15, but in truth I was aiming for sub 4:00. I came home with a 4:00:17, so not quite but I'll take that :-) If I hadn't stopped for a pitstop in the bushes at 4miles I would have been 30seconds faster..

My only other marathon was 23 years ago and I knocked 45 minutes off for a pleasing pb!
