I'm in, was not sure for a bit if i would enter the fee was putting me off to be honest but glad i entered So excited, really looking forward to hopefully having a good run, and fingers crossed breaking the 3hour barrier the training has commenced. Looks like a few of us fetchies are gonna be taking part, does anyone know if there will be a big meet up before the start like some of the other events, always great to meet other fetch addicts Good luck for the training everyone

Just spotted this thread. Not running, but will be supporting like last year - although hopefully in better weather as even I started to get hypothermia in Altrincham... Maybe the start of a Fetchpoint, then... |

JK well volunteered.... For FetchPoint where will it be? DD thought you'd have been quicker than that? Sub 4:30 for me. Shall I put target times up in the header? |

JK - I'm not running (not quite brave enough to tackle a marathon just yet) but thought I would fetchpoint if I can get there ok.

I'm yet to decide whether to pace my friend to sub-4 or defer my place to next year. I'd have thought the top of Brooklands Rd (convenient for the Metro) would make a resonable place for a fetchpoint, to see runners at 8&15 miles, although maybe that is a little early in the run. Alternatively, Chester Rd (near Stretford Metro stop) would see runners at 5&25 miles. |
