There are 3 water stations on the lap, and race is 3 laps of the course - so about every 3 miles.

Hmm so yesterday was the calm before the storm then!!
Want to thank Great Yarmouth Road Runners for putting on a great event. For me personally, I didn't hit the sub 4hr I wanted, but still happy with 4:21 and no injuries!!!
Also thanks to fellow fetches whose encouragement along the way helped more than you will know!
See you in 25 years Great Yarmouth!!!

I saw you today Rich (quite a few times!). Well done on a great time and being injury free at the end. I've been looking for the results but can't find them, can't find any mention of when they'll be up

Rank bad weather that was....didn't show Yarmouth in its best light. Anyone go on the log flume after....

Still cracking event, and a near perfect race executed. Started off at a steady 7:15mm, with nice low HR. Kept it steady and quiet first half, and right up to 20 miles. At 20, decided to give it a lash and sped up. Cut through the field at sub 7mm, even managing to stay at this pace with the wind and nowheavy rain against, and finished in 3:09:26. Nice shiny new PB by 3 and half mins, and the old PB had stood for 4 years.

Final happiness came with prize for 3rd in AG.

Lovely.

I am guessing TRO that was you that came past us 3 Wymondham boys just before the piers. Great finish in tough conditions.

Yes, that was me. You 3 Wymonham boys were going well, think the group had just started to break up when I passed. Think there were two I was running close to for a while. Hope you all got what you were after. Reminds me to check when the Wymondham 20 is....
