Haven't seen a thread for this. A little over 10 weeks now. So 1/2 or 10k - who's doing what?

I'm doing the half and my son has signed up for the 10K (first run, he is only 15 but is doing a 60 mile cycle for his Duke of Edinburgh Award the following week in Sept so good training!). :) See you all in sunny Glesga :)

I'm signed up for half but might have to drop to 10k as I have the GNR 2 weeks later.

Janey - well done to your son for signing up and for that 60 mile bike ride :-)

I'm doing the Half, it will be my 4th half and the biggest I've ever run. Looking forward to the atmosphere but i'll be taking it easy in light of Loch Ness Mara approaching soon after.

I'm doing the half, anyone know whether or not its water only at the fuelling stations for the half or if they provide some kind of sports drink - if so which one?

From what I remember, there are no sports drinks on the course. Its just water stations.
