No gnr for princess this year. Currently not running since an op in October last year so this year a break from routine.

I'm in this year - will hopefully actually run it - I've had a place on 3 previous occasions but not actually got there yet

Got unfinished business with this and I would love to run the GNR one more time san charity vest but have decided its not going to be this year. Its too much outlay as PinkLiverBird says. I'm going to try the Paras10 the week before.

Good luck to everyone who has entered the ballot :-)

Sorry DeeGee.

I loved my Gnr with GM and GG but to be honest think I need a break as financially I can do 3 other races and travel..if it wasn't so darn expensive.

I'll definitely miss it this year and will no doubt be yearning to be there when sitting at home watching it on the telly.

Good luck to those running it and best of luck to those hoping for a ballot place. I'll be watching out for you on the day :-)

New half marathon sounds a good idea but I know when I've run through the pedestrian tunnel before from North Shields to Sunderland the escalator never worked and having to run up the steps was really hard; having say 500-1000 people running the steps has to looked at, surely a big H&S issue.
.....Id certainly give it a go though.

Hi Guys - I'm a GNR newbie and was wondering if anyone could tell me whether you need to pick your race pack up the day before or whether it comes in the post. Thanks :-) Will help me decide where to stay.
