Can i please ask is it that good a race, i mean a worthwhile 13 miles or is it simply one of those races "Yes, I've done GNR " |

I love it. It's longer than the other half marathons as well, I think It's not a guaranteed PB by any stretch, and it's not to some people's taste. But it's very important to me and I do it every year. |

A good race? It's the best race Ive ever done. Yes it is essentially just running down a dual carriageway but it was so much fun and such an amazing atmosphere. 13miles of party in my opinion

I expected to hate it last year but was really surprised at how clear a run I got - I could run at my own pace throughout. I found it to be less congested than other big city halves and certainly nowhere near as congested as London Mara. The last mile is the longest mile in the world though.

Mick, I did it again because my first one was a disaster (for a variety of reasons). The route is not bonnie, it's too hilly for lazybones me and is it worth the hassle driving down from Glasgow? This time it was. I found it more of an experience than a race and the buzz reminded me of the first time I went to Ibiza, went to a festival etc. Hope all grand with you all.

Yeah love it. Great atmosphere and great Fetchies I find it can get a bit crowded at times but still a great race to do. Will be doing it next year which will be my third time. I'd say give it a go. |
