DeeGee Sep 2012 10:46pm, 18 Sep 2012 12,711 posts	0 DeeGee I love it. It's longer than the other half marathons as well, I think It's not a guaranteed PB by any stretch, and it's not to some people's taste. But it's very important to me and I do it every year.

becca7 Sep 2012 10:50pm, 18 Sep 2012 4,157 posts	0 becca7 I expected to hate it last year but was really surprised at how clear a run I got - I could run at my own pace throughout. I found it to be less congested than other big city halves and certainly nowhere near as congested as London Mara. The last mile is the longest mile in the world though.

The route is not bonnie, it's too hilly for lazybones me and is it worth the hassle driving down from Glasgow? This time it was. I found it more of an experience than a race and the buzz reminded me of the first time I went to Ibiza, went to a festival etc. Hope all grand with you all.

Pinkliverbird Sep 2012 10:59pm, 18 Sep 2012 388 posts	0 Pinkliverbird Yeah love it. Great atmosphere and great Fetchies I find it can get a bit crowded at times but still a great race to do. Will be doing it next year which will be my third time. I'd say give it a go.
