I think they would probably make more money if they halved their prices as a lot more people would buy from them. And maybe if they had a bigger preview (lets say half of you face) so that you didnt buy it and then find that it wasnt even in focus. It would also be nice if they did a club discount or family discount. I had two kids in the mini GNR as well. Theres a few good pics but at those prices ill just stick with the ones taken by family. Im a bit of a grump though. When the kids' school photos came back sub standard i just set it up in my house and did them myself. ![]() |

Yes you can't even make out your face in the previews most of the time and being a woman I'm NLT going to buy a photo only to find out I'm gurning. I dont know why they have to be so expensive ![]() |

I think that at mass events like the GNR or London Marathon they are banking on the 'once in lifetime' participant. People on Fetch who are runners might pay a fiver for the odd photo you like quite good in at a small event, where as none runners who can't quite believe they got round the course and will never do it again may pay through the nose for a momento. Does that sound patronising?? I fear it does but it's meant to be just observational. |

No that does make alot of sense !!that's prob why in smaller races you can buy a pic for generally around a fiver !!

I had a good couple of official photos for my first GNR. They're in my gallery here. I didn't know if I'd ever get the chance to do it again, so I paid big, willingly. I'll not do anything like that again. I won't even pay a fiver, when I go to races sometimes myself, and take photos of runners which I upload to the internet for free. |

Have registered for the alert service to remind me when the ballot opens. So GNR No.32 is on the cards. |
