Really excited now! managed to change zones from j to c which I'm pleased about. With regards to ipods I rarely train without one but have never raced with one as the atmosphere, noise and crowds drive you along and add to the experience!.If I could record that I'd probably listen to it on training runs but may look stupid grinning like a loon!.

You will miss a lot of fun shouts and banter if you listen to an mp3 on this one - don't do it. Besides if your really addicted there a are various bands along the way - just pretend its on shuffle and you won't know the difference ......

Chrisvilla, how did you manage to change zones then? I thought it was at the info desk on the day - but I'll be cutting it fine to make the start comfortably.
Was also thinking of parking at Heworth .... and then waiting it outi a oub afterwards!!

LR-replied to a great run update I recieved via email but didnt expect to hear anything-got a reply and was told that I could either change zone over the weekend at the info desk or send of proofs of previous races run with times along with my number and they would sort. When I got into work had new number and new zone waiting for me!.Now i've got to make sure I run fast!.

I obviously meant ..... "and then waiting it out in a pub afterwards!!" at the end of that last post.
(typing whilst eating dinner is not a good idea).

Oooh - I will try that route then C .....
A mate at work has sponsored me a larger amount depending on how fast I run - so I'm kinda obligated to go quickly too!
