don't worry about it, i wasn't been nasty or anything when i said i was 70th last year. yes hopefully when it comes round ill be feeling more confident about it. im sure you will bump into me sometime as i do quite a few of the local races.

i don't like to enter races to far ahead so didnt put in for the newcastle marathon, i had hoped they might of let people still enter nearer the time and i would have done it but it looks like they won't be doing that.

my number has arrived and just the fact it has my name on it has made me even more excited! OH wasnt sure what all the fuss was about but its my first GNR and first HM.

I think the toon moor has a small field because they're having to count the runners round the laps and they don't want to get confused... it *is* 5 laps!

don't worry OC, we all have bad training runs.
