Jun 2009 3:50pm, 9 Jun 2009 4 posts	Quote Pin We have managed to find accomadation in wooler (which is closer than traveling from northampton on the day ) Does anyone know the postcode area for the start of the race .This is the first time we have raced and my first big RACE .Any tips on getting to the start on race day will be of help . eg how bad is taffic by road and is it easier to get dropped off and train in etc .

I'd be tempted to drive to Morpeth and get a train into Newcastle Central (5-10 mins walk to start) - then a massive queue for the metro at S Shields back into Newcastle at the end.
