Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

would you consider a charity place Ian? theres still some to be had and nowhere near the silly money that is required for FLM. (our local charity wants a minimum £300)

Hi Meglet,

Thanks for the reply.

I think I would find it difficult to raise that to be honest, especially at the moment.

it depends if you want to park at the start or the finish. The last time I did it I parked near the start without any probs, just down from the stadium, and got the bus back from the finish

Traffic by road is a nightmare but you will have to face it in one direction or the other. I'd be tempted to drive to Morpeth and get a train into Newcastle Central (5-10 mins walk to start) - then a massive queue for the metro at S Shields back into Newcastle at the end.

if you are looking at directions to get in the road you need to avoid is the A167 which is the central motorway and part of the race course
