Have registered with Parkinson's Disease Soc (my dad died of PD two years ago), and they have a place reserved for me... hopefully they'll confirm tomorrow. Ran the first... not run since, been out of running for 15 years... started again in October.

If there is a few of you try staying in Bishop Auckland area, renting a cottage or similar. Bishop Auckland is about 40-50 mins away from South Shields (in the morning that is, a tad longer after the run!!). Lovely area and a nice way to spend a weekend. Weve done it for the last three years and its been good.
