I'm after a cheap(ish) pair of cycling shoes (I think). As I do more riding, I'm finding my feet getting sore as if the sole is flexing/getting stretched. I'm looking for a shop with a reasonable selection of shoes to try before I buy Thanks in advance for the words of wisdom |

Does Woking count as near? Sweatshop by the station is good if so. I actually wandered through Guildford and spotted a shop I hadn't seen before the other day, Fit Stuff, near the High Street. I have no idea if it's any good though, sorry. |

Evans cycles in Woking does cycle gear lol. The Woking one is actually pretty good, there will be lots of shoes in there. |

Fit stuff isn't a cycle shop... although it IS a good running shop. There is Cycleworks in Burpham which is a smaller enterprise than Evans etc which might = good?. Not sure if it is a good shop though as I don't really do cycling! When I have needed stuff the big new Evans have been very helpful (eg putting the stabilisers BACK ON my daughter's bike free of charge as I was too inept to do it). |

And I'll make sure Fit Stuff is used next time I need some running things ![]() |
