I find winter parkland golf really frustrating - ball-striking off sodden grass, losing balls just because they plug, shaggy greens - and that's before even thinking about whether it's raining. I've got a good last few weeks lined up though - 2 rounds in Porto end of this week, and a 2-day trip in Ayrshore for Western Gailes / Dundonald for 3rd weekend in October. Nice cut ginger. I'm looking like finishing the year on 16.x, which will be 3 shots improvement in 2023. Steady enough, no major breakthrough.

Went to Vilamoura a few years ago and can't remember anything about it, it will be different this time
