Is it a private members' club? The structure suggests it is, but it doesn't say so? [also I asked you a completely unrelated question on Smell because I thought I was here - sorry - it probably doesn't fit on either thread]
It is, yes. Fees are going up 7.5% this year. If we pay in full, we get 4% added to our bar account, so I'll probably do that.

Afternoon all, we're under way in Upstate New York, 1 hour and 50 minutes late due to frost !!!
Course looks fantatstic, but they reckon its super tough.
I'm playing tomorrow and Saturday, very excited

I'm playing on Saturday in the first round of the mixed foursomes ko competition. I've played with this lady in mixed comps for the last two years, but we've had a bit of a falling out and she doesn't want to play with me any more after we're knocked out of this comp. I think she may throw the match! (Although the way I've been playing recently, she won't need to!).
A more civilised men's medal comp on Sunday!

Well, we won our match! Debby was nice and friendly and we were able to have banter like we did previously.
We were 4 down after 5 holes before I woke up! We gradually edged our way back into it, winning the 18th to be all square.
Halved the 1st and 2nd and on the 3rd the lady opponent had a 2 foot putt to half again, but it lipped round and stayed up on the edge of the hole! A nice cold beer was needed after that!
