Me! Sad as I am it's not on the BBC, Sky coverage so far has been great. I think Jason Day has the smarts and game to do well on Links, but DJ just seems in amazing form right now.
For British hopes...clearly can't right Rory/Danny/Justin off, but I don't see them being there come Sunday afternoon, hopefully I'm wrong though.
Course looks really tough..

Yep, the Sky coverage has been first class so far. The open zone or whatever its called is a quality show. Have enjoyed the relaxed questioning of the pros on it and Claude Harmon is great.
I would agree that its hard to see past DJ and Day is looking best out of other big guys. Could see Sullivan performing well for a Brit and hoping for Ramsay to do well as a late qualifier.

Enjoying what I've seen of the first day so far. The front 9 is getting the players into a false sense of security and the back 9 is biting back a bit. Seeing the pros having to go backwards to get out of bunkers etc makes me feel a bit better about my own game

Unbelievable performance from Stenson. Great display from him and Phil to make yesterday essential viewing.

Was amazing, how Henrick held it together I don't know, it was top drawer golf and Phil pushed him the whole way.

I'm in rented accommodation while some work is done on the house so no sky sports for me, very disappointed to miss what sounds like a cracking competition at the top of the leaderboard.
Watched the highlights on BBC2 but its not the same.

I was glad to watch some decent players as I'd been out for a club comp earlier on in the day and played terrible.

and I was at Lord's watching some real muppetry. I would have much preferred to have stayed at home and watched what might have been the finest final round performance ever. Gah!
ED - thankfully I don't play any more. Walked off a course nearly 7 years ago having played for 20+ years (prob 3 times a week) and I've never been back, not once!!

I love getting out and playing to be honest. I always have a few good holes that make my desperate to get out again and be more consistent.

I joined a golf club for the first time 18 months ago after being sick of being a hack, so I gave up running, got fat and was still a hack at the end of it..although got my HC down to a giddy 17.
Gave up golf again start of this year, and back running ok!
I do love a game though, hopefully playing this weekend!
