Nice going ptb

I played last Saturday and enjoyed it very much but didn't break 100, new course to me though

Playing this Sunday on my home course so hoping for better things, will enjoy it either way, it's good to be back.

Played in our club's mixed foursomes quarter final today. We won 8 and 6 despite having to give our opponents 10 shots!

And I assume it was alternate shot there too? I don't think I've ever played that format. Do you feel like you only get half a game?

Yes, alternate shots. It does feel like half a game. As we won at the 12th we played our own balls for the rest of the round.

Actually played golf a couple weeks back for the first time this year. Played the King James VI course in Perth with some work mates. Enjoyed it alot but due to lack of playing was hitting the ball all over the shop. (Although hitting the ball ok, not many duffs etc.) There was 8 of us so played a 2 team Texas scramble which allowed me to enjoy a bit more. I said this when I got a round in last year but hopefully I can get a couple more rounds in this year and find some more time next year to get back playing again.

We got through to the final of the mixed foursomes ko tournament which is next weekend. I'm playing in an an individual competition this Sunday and my partner is telling me not to play well so my handicap doesn't come down! We're already giving them 5 shots.

It's this coming Saturday. Played reasonably well in the competition yesterday, but not enough to bring my handicap down. My partner was very pleased! 😄
