Nice one Nick. And go well tomorrow lammo. Looks like the weather turned nice just in time for you both too.

It'll be interesting to see what condition course are in. Some will look great for the lack of traffic over the wet winter. And others will not, showing themselves as either struggling for staff/wages etc., or just being badly run.

My comeback looks like:
- driving range Friday
- 9 holes Saturday (limited by club due to 2-ball rule)
- 18 holes Monday.
Can't wait.

Good luck Paul, I should have done a driving range session first ideally, but just can't squeeze it in.

Accident rather than design - I would have gone straight to playing if I could, but the tee-times went in minutes once the booking sheet opened. Everyone is desperate to get back out again.

Enjoy all. I'm hoping to get a game in the next few weeks and have a few offers for later in the year once I can move a bit more freely in Scotland.
Really need to get my kids playing as that's the only way I'm going to get time to play more regularly.

Afternoon, well that was a great success.

We only played 9 holes, which was a sensible start.

I finished with the same ball I started with, parred the first which I feared was an omen for the rest of the round, but it was OK with another par and a couple of close shaves, some glimpses of the old brilliance :-)

Also there were some drives that went right and kept on going, that is my weakness and needs work, still.

Well done lammo. I played again today, not a good front nine, but 3 pars on the back nine.

Still inconsistent, but the good shots are encouraging!

How's it all going after a month or so back at it?

My best round since opening up again was 89 too, last Saturday. Although that's worth 41/42 points for me, more generously handicapped than Nick ;-). Cut by 1 after that.

Everyone understanding the WHS yet? I see some counter-intuitive things happening, but I guess we have to trust the system overall.
