Very nice Ginger, Whistling straights for you in 2025 then :-)

I enjoyed my round on Saturday very much and played OK though nothing special

Delighted to see the Europeans win the Ryder Cup, although it got a bit tense on Sunday afternoon

I dusted the clubs off on Saturday and went out for 5 holes to see if I could remember what to do. It went as expected - double bogey, bogey, then massive score because I hit two balls OOB, birdie, par. That gave me some hope.
On Sunday, I swapped everything over from my carry bag to my trolley bag and found a banana that had been festering since 25 September. Yeuch.
Today was the first of the Vets' Summer Comps. It was abandoned after we played 2 holes because the visibility was poor. I managed to 5 putt on the second hole so was quite pleased to walk off.
Things can only get better.
