Glove advice needed, please.

GimmeMedals Jan 2014 9:10pm, 26 Jan 2014 10,149 posts	0 GimmeMedals During today's run in heavy rain and wind, my gloves (Saucony Protection) got soaked and my hands were freezing. I've been on the 'net trying to find something that will keep my hands toasty in similar conditions (if I ever venture out for another run in mad weather) but I'm not getting much joy. Has anyone found the ideal glove for wild, wet and windy weather? If so, what is it?

They're not waterproof and they dry out straight away after getting soggy. I've never had cold hands with them and I wear them all the time as soon as it starts to get cold and wet. They are v old tho', so prob not available now.

I used to wear my cheap ones for BMF too; they got caked in mud regularly. It was a case of them getting wet, warming up on my hands, then the water dissipating. Maybe my cheapies are made out of some amazing material.
Rosehip Jan 2014 6:46am, 27 Jan 2014 2,760 posts	0 Rosehip Yesterday I just carried a spare pair of my thin Ronhill non-waterproof gloves, tucking hands into jacket sleeves to keep dry as long as possible. Changinsg into warm gloves when the first pair got really wet was lovely

Too thick for most runs but i've done 2 races in persistent torrential rain, when I've got drenched and ended up with frozen fingers, so they are for those sort of days when the heavens open.
