After each of our race weekends i keep saying that was the best and after the Glenmore, that was the best :). Well done to team BaM, sunshine, banter, laughs and happy emotional tears. Roll on next year.

And on it rolled.

How's everyone's legs/binging/alcohol recovery now that a few days have passed?

I've gone from limping a bit on Monday, to managing a slow run on Tuesday. Now starting to feel guilty about the recovery beer strategy.

Just managed a speedy wee run tonight. Cold that's been hanging about for weeks just localised to one ear now, breathing that was laboured the whole 40 miles is fine now, dodgy tummy i had with taking antibiotics last week is now fine and i've only got a bit of thigh heaviness and a touch of shin splints going on. Sleep deprivation catch up has been my bother this week and i didn't eat for 24 hours from Sunday night. Alcohol binging didn't happen :). I'll leave that till Saturday's SUMS party.

I feel like I've been drinking constantly since the weekend. Despite doing "only" 16 miles, that was about twice what I'd planned and had sore calves for a couple of days. mrs s still has a sore ankle but recovering well.

It's a cracking event, idle_wilder. Lots of fun for runners and crews.
