I'm sure the gigs I went to years ago were smoky saunas....

I’m okay with red hots mosh pits, although I’m nit sure they will ever return.

I think they will. Probably before they really should.

How do you get your beer into one of those balls?

My next gig is Teenage Fanclub at the Barrowlands - currently pushed out to September. I doubt there’ll be a mosh-pit in action for that one, even if it is able to go ahead on that date. More likely to be a bunch of blokes in their 50s swaying on the spot.

The Flaming Lips at City Hall Newcastle has to be one of my most unforgettable gigs. Thoroughly anarchic, epic madness. Sweaty, dripping with tears of laughter when the furry animal chorus joined them on stage and memorable for my husband losing his glasses to a giant balloon and having them handed back from about 10 rows away.

Different times.

Anyone getting involved in this "Music Feeds" streamy thing for charitable food poverty work? £15 a pop.

Not all "live" performances, and the lineup does seem to be shifting a bit... but might be an interesting diversion for not much money?

Just been listening to the Adam Buxton podcast on my run and it had Stewart Lee on it.
