Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I currently have 1 or 2 tiny little stitches in my neck. I need to get them out at the beginning of next week.

I was told to make an appt at my GP, but work are a bit difficult to say the least about things like this, and I had to go last week to get them in, and I've got an appointment about my foot soon blablabla. This feels like I'm pushing it a bit.

I take it I can't snip it out myself? Can I?!

Can you go to minor injuries clinics with this sort of thing and ask someone to snip it out, out of work hours or is that wasting their time? Do I *really* have to leave work 2 hours early?

A minor injuries clinic should be able to do it, or a friend with a sharp scalpel and a strong stomach

If the wound looks healthy and you can get a good view of it and reach it, there's no reason not to snip the stitcles out yourself.
