I *occassionally* hoover the bed. Am I the only one? Probably do it 2x a year maybe? |

I was told to hoover our bed by my doctor when my asthma got bad. I did it for a while, but it's kinda shifted off my to-do list in recent months.

I have never told a patient to hoover their bed. I may occasionally have recommended using mattress covers (The Kirby man wanted to hoover *my* bed to demonstrate his point. Insolent scoundrel! I allowed him to hoover the baby's cot and then pointed out that the stuff in the filter was just white threads off the sheet, not homicidal squames and rampaging dust mites.) |

I always get really cold after a long run - i get in, immediately blitz a banana in a pint of milk and add 4 spoons of chocolate milkshake powder - then stretch while drinking it, then shower and layer up. usually takes me a good hour to get warm. that drink i start looking forward to from about mile 15 onwards - its yummy. |

I don't get cold but it's probably because I refuel as someone suggested early on, on here and have something similar to Chris above straight away - goat milk; cocoa powder and dark agave nectar in the blender ... and I'm dreaming about it about 2 miles from home. Then I'm busy in the kitchen preparing a big meal/quick 3 mins in warm shower, stretching while cooking, so the blood's still going round the system. |

Hoovering full stop generally gets shifted onto my "To Do" list. So, hoovering the bed, no! I hate the job. Mind you, I hate all housework. What a waste of time, when you can be out running/cycling/swimming/playing hockey/etc... |

But *if* you must do housework, the time to do it is when you get home from a run, instead of plonking yourself down in front of the computer and bawling at the kids to get your pipe and slippers and sherry.
