Me neither. I did once make the mistake of letting a Kirby vacuum cleaner salesman into my house and he told me I was the only person in the world who didn't hoover my bed and wasn't worried about being attacked and murdered in my sleep by old skin cells and bits of pyjama-fluff.

no bed hoovering here either

I go blue after a long run, regardless of the outside temp
Goes away when I eat
Milk shakes work well for me for when I cant eat, like after a marathon

Glad it's not just me - didn't notice it until I was getting to around 17-18 miles.

Knew this query rang a bell!!! Found the following over on RW:

'When you exercise for a long time, especially in heat, your body temperature has risen so much, that all your bodily systems are trying to dump heat - sweating, dialated blood vessels, etc. When you stop, your body is still in this mode and keeps dumping heat even though you're not generating so much anymore. You dump so much heat that your temperature drops below normal. A body temp below your "set point" means you feel cold. It comes from the fact that your body's systems can't just turn on a dime.

The best way I've found to help the problem is to have a much longer cool-down period. I always walk after a run, but that is too much of a slow down. Jog slowly for at least two miles, then walk for a mile.'

Not sure I'd like to jog a further 3 miles after the long run, though!!!
