Garmin usb ant stick trouble

All of a sudden my watch stopped uploading, laptop says driver not available for the ant stick in “devices”.

Why would that suddenly happen?

I’ve tried a different usb port, restarted, shutdown, even a different stick - to no avail.

Also tried downloading the driver again and re- installing, which didn’t seem to make any difference.

I’m at a bit of a loss as to what to do next, any suggestions gratefully received 😁

I appreciate buying a new watch with bluetooth is optimal, but I’d rather not if i can avoid it.

I have a Windows 11 ready laptop that is currently running 10. My USB ANT stick currently works to pair heart rate monitor with Zwift, so I would really like it to keep working. If you find a solution lammo, I would be interested for future reference.

Hey Groundhog, it went back to windows 10 seamlessly and now works again fine.

Not sure what the real issue is yet, other than windows 11.

If i get any further I’ll report back
