FE probably factored in what it knows about your swimming?

Hi A q about this watch Can you use it to manually count your laps so press lap button each lap? I know that's not really the point but was thinking of using it (or something else) for an indoor track where I know the length of the track so tell it the track is 200m the every lap press lap and the garmin tells me total distance ? Will it do this? |

You'd have to press the lap button twice - it's a weird lap-and-pause arrangement

To be honest youd be better of buying a cheap watch with a stopwatch. Less complicated. If you know the lap distance just times the number of laps by the distance afterwards. Surely?

You can get a lap counter you tap at each lap. I think about £5 to £30 depending on type, features & where you buy it, these for example ebay.co.uk I think there are quite a few on the market. |

I have a lap watch but I want to know pace and distance whilst running not after. I am thinking of doing an indoor 24 hour race you see and my Garmin won't work indoors and as I will slow down a lot the foot pod thing won't be very accurate

This might be the wrong place to ask. The new Garmin Connect only seems to let me see 8 lengths. The "swim graph" part of the page has 4 lengths and it lets me scroll another 4 with my mouse but then defaults back to the start of the swim. The old version had(has) some buttons to scroll right and left through however many lengths. Am I doing it wrong? Is this a safari/macbook problem? |
