The former. It is like a Swimovate Poolmate but with a display that is legible, Garmin Connect linkage and all round Garmin-ness. It is also less than 30% of the price of a 910xt (and I've already got a 310xt).

It doesn't play with TrainingPeaks at all well, and the ANT+ authorisation is more frustrating than it might be, other than that I'm delighted. A real improvement on the Poolmate I was using.
