Just used my Forerunner 225 and I love it 😄 I am deaf, wear hearing aids in both ears but have still never heard any of my Garmin's (this is No 4) beep so finally having one which vibrates genuinely will change my training. It is very comfortable to wear and easy to use. Bluetooth means you can down load with out fiddling around with wires etc. For me it ticks all the boxes. |

I really like mine - swapped out a FR 620 for it to get rid of strap (had 3 replacements). The HRM I find REALLY temperamental and it's just not reliable. Tried all positions, crushing my arm with tightness but it's disappointing. Love the watch - allowed ,e to stop wearing my Vivifit for steps (and a Fitbit) and replace all with a watch. |

I haven't had any problems with the HRM. In fact haven't had any problems at all. Just been to France and it found everything really quickly being able to use the Bluetooth to down load everything was a really bonus.

I purchased a 225 and unless I am getting younger by the day then the HR data is completely pants. Such a shame, the rest of the watch is great (except the cadence which also appears to give random numbers).

Cadence works fine on the 220 which is the same watch without the optical HR.

agree HR is a bit temperamental, but I found a position up my arm from normally where watch goes that is pretty reliable, although seem sometimes to get a spike that lasts a few minutes before it settles down. But I got this often with chest strap too, and overall its SO much better than wearing a cheststrap
