Oh I know someone who had a similar problem with her 110 - it just stopped logging the starts of runs. I think it turned out it was because there wasn't much space left on the watch. But I don't know how you delete old runs I'm afraid...

You easily delete them when you have the watch connected to the computer. You search for the drive/folder on your computer that shows all the FIT files (something like - E:\Garmin\Activities\ ) then highlight your old runs and delete them. Just make sure you don't delete anything else!

I also have nightmares getting it to connect so I turn it off and restart it. That usually works else I launch it into space...

I used to have that problem on my old one J123 - I eventually found the right jiggling technique to locate the contacts into the holes correctly. Infuriating if not connected properly and it's still flat when you go back to it. Listen for the beep and watch the screen change to ensure it is actually charging. Never found a solution and presumed it was a design thing.

It's almost impossible to line up the contacts and get it to connect. It drives me CRAZY, takes me at least five tries every time.

Oh good and I thought it was just me! Lol runnerbean, 'Garmin data has been downloaded into outerspace successfully'. Hmmm there must be a correct visual line to see looking profile or something ( when the correct Jiggling Technique is used). To be honest I'd got so used to it being a time consuming job I'd forgotten to try to find a more efficient method
