Hi,

I've just bought a Garmin Forerunner 101 and have set up the lap timer to miles so that it beeps to alert me every mile. However the beep isn't very loud - does anyone know if it's possible to adjust the volume please? I used to have a 305 and it was much louder.

Thank you very much,
Claire

I don't think it is, sorry. My 205 got quieter and quieter until there was no sound at all....

I'm full of good news today, aren't I?

Mine is quiet - frequently don't hear it on a road with traffic. I can't see anything in the manual about adjusting the volume - maybe try Garmin, their helpline is usually really helpful x

There's no user controlled way of adjusting the volume. It may be possible through a firmware update but that's up to Garmin.

The 610 vibrates as well, which is useful.
