I picked up a 610 in a sale at Runners need, with heart band.

No complaints from me. Very accurate gps and times. Looks good and light weight and has a very responsive touch screen (you can use with gloves on!!!). Also water proof - but don't do a tri in it !!!

If I was being picky, the only thing I miss which the 620 has is records. You cannot upload bp's to it and it doesn't record them.

Epilogue: going for the 620. Really hope it's a more robust piece of kit than the 610 which is really not in good shape for two years / 2.5k miles old:

Back of watch corroded and cuts my skin;
Charging posts worn out, have to use a clothes-peg to hold the charger on tight enough;
start-stop button is becoming moody;
Wrist band looks like it's about to break.

You'll like the magnetic charge clamp on the 620 then :-)

Transposition? PBs? Though the idea of another metric in the form of blood pressure brings out the geek desire :-)

I think the 620 is generally a good product and I particularly love the cadence feature as it has made it a focus of my training to try and increase my cadence above 180 consistently. However of late the HRM-Run strap has become unreliable giving unrealistic HR, mostly very low heart rate after about 15 minutes. I have reported this to Garmin and I am waiting for a response after checking out their support forums. There is a thread about the device being fine at first but soon draining the cell battery far too quickly (meant to last a year but had mine since mid Feb) and subsequently not giving reliable data despite replacing with a very new Duracell CR2032 battery and following the step by step instructions to first drain the charge from the device before inserting the new cell. I will let you know what feedback and resolution I get from Garmin.
