Just discovered this morning how bleeding frustrating it is to switch between run and bike. Jumped off bike, in gloves, spent three years poking at wrist, ran two miles, spent three years poking at wrist, cycled to work. Poor.

hello, if someone could help me please that would be lovely.

I need a new garmin and finally have enough money to get one. Are there any drawbacks to the 405cx?? I did order one but had to send it back because the wrist band seaparated way too easily from the watch piece.

Help please. Thanks.

Only real drawback on mine is that the touch sensitive bezel can be very annoying, and unusable when raining. 110 is much more usable, but you lose out on lots of features.

I still think the 405 is a Marmite gadget. I loved mine. Mow MrsP has it and she hates it. I'm hoping she demands a change - then she can have my 310xt and I can get a 910 ;)

I still love mine. But then, I don't have an iphone, an ipad, a sat nav, a Wii, an xbox, or a fancy car. It's my best gadget. Ever.

thanks for that guys....now just to wait for the price to come back down on amazon. It's been fluctuating every week. Almost as if they can't decide on a price.

As for running in wet weather...i'm not much of a runner in the rain especially if it's pouring down...

any problems with it in drizzly rain?

You can set the watch to automatically rotate the screens and then lock the bezel.
It can take a few minutes to lock on to satellites, which can be annoying does make me warm up and stretch a bit !
