Have done some reading up on intervals and for example 800 sprint 200m jog/walk can you set it for the distance of each rep or does it have to be the time and then the time of rest period?and persume I can set it to beep whe time to jog walk or whatever. Any links to articles on intervals also useful. Thanks.
Che dragon Feb 2009 11:04pm, 17 Feb 2009 2,544 posts	Che dragon Hi Ripcurl, you can set it for time or distance for reps and rests, so it'll tell you to run for 800, then beep rest for 200 etc.
flanker Feb 2009 12:22am, 18 Feb 2009 9,901 posts	flanker you can use TC or sporttracks to develop interval programs with reps, rest and sets of reps, download them to the garmin and then it will take you through them, measuring time/pace/effort/distance and beeping when a rep is done.

Old Croc Feb 2009 9:10am, 18 Feb 2009 1,255 posts	Old Croc Anybody know how long battery in chest strap should last ? Am guesing its battery as no HR readout for last 1.5 miles of last nights run?? Speed etc all downloaded but HR line stops short! Had it since last May.

Paul S Feb 2009 9:24am, 18 Feb 2009 270 posts	Paul S Mine lasted about 18 months. I would try it again before replacing the battery. I've had problems like that in the past and then its been ok the next time i used it. I think the spec says upto 2 years.
