Hmm, I tried that but no joy. I'll give it another go tomorrow.

Thanks

Deeks, don't think there's anyway to export to Garmin then import to FE, but... I know a nice man who will import XL into FE (see the little icon over there --- > > > ). So if you export from Garmin TC to XLS then send Sir Fetch the XLsheet. If you haven't already typed them all in of course! :-)

Yes, but EP, Deeks had deleted from Garmin, so question is how to get from Garmin TC to FE training log, but without having the runs still on the watch. :-)

pix, I thought that the garmin needed the distance to work out your calorie burn? As I've not used my HRM thing for months I wouldnt swear to it though.

Incidentally, you can turn off the GPS by pressing and holding the mode button. This bring up the multi-sport transition bit and also has an option to turn off the GPS.

The calorie count definitely doesn't work, it gave me my current and average HR in the gym this morning and the timer was on, but the counter stayed at 0, so it obviously doesn't work indoors.

It's not that it doesn't work indoors. The calorie counter is based on the distance travelled as measured by GPS, so if you're running on the spot indoors (or outdoors) you won't have travelled any distance.
