My Fenix 5X is from the last generation of sports watches before PulseOx sensors became de rigueur, and I don't really want to fork out for a new watch* to get O2 stats during a workout. Not least because I'd convince myself I "need" the Enduro 2, and that's a lot* of money for a PulseOx sensor...

I was running a race I'd never done before and had not put the route on the watch, but it showed the route profile for the race and where I was on it perfectly. If I'd loaded the route onto the watch I might understand how it worked out I was on the course, but I hadn't (I don't even have the route in Connect). It wasn't even connected to my phone at the time. Any ideas...?
